Privacy Policy — oblepo

Last updated: October 15, 2026

We (“we”, “us”) are Reorient Software LLC, and we make oblepo, an app that helps you replace distracting phone use with intentional focus time and time in God’s Word. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We do not sell your data, and we do not show ads.

What we collect

  • Account info: your name and email address (for sign-in and account recovery).
  • Profile photo (optional): if you add one, it is stored so you — and, if you pair, your partner — can see it in the app.
  • Your activity in the app: focus modes you create, focus sessions, app limits and schedules, reading activity and reading plans, bookmarks/highlights/notes, scripture-prompt choices, your “why” intention answers, and a record of any emergency passes you use.
  • Goals and Selected apps list: your focus and reading goals and the names on your Selected apps list, saved to your account so they follow you to a new phone.
  • Time zone: your phone’s time zone, so couple screens can warn when partners’ clocks differ.
  • Partner link (optional): if you pair with a partner, we store the link between your two accounts, the quality-time sessions you share, your shared couple settings, and — if you write one — a short line for your partner’s block screen (and theirs for yours).
  • Gratitude journal: your entries are saved to your account so they follow you to a new phone.
  • Device push token (optional): if you enable notifications, so we can send them.
  • Crash reports: if the app crashes, a technical report (device model, iOS or Android version, and what the app was doing) goes to our error-tracking service (GlitchTip). It does not include your name, email, or any of your content.
  • Screen Time selections (on-device only): if you enable app-blocking, the apps you choose to block are represented by opaque tokens that stay on your device and are never sent to us.
  • Apple Health (optional, on-device): if you turn on the Apple Health option, completed focus sessions are written to Health as Mindful Minutes. We only write; we never read your Health data, and it never leaves your phone.

What we do NOT do

  • We do not sell or rent your personal data.
  • We do not show third-party ads.
  • We do not share your private “why” answers or your decline counts with your partner or anyone else.
  • We do not transmit or monitor your partner’s app usage; each person controls their own device. If you both turn on “Share our stats”, each of you can see the other’s reading time, focus time, and blocked-app tap counts — and either of you can turn it off at any time.

How we use your data

To provide the app’s features: run focus sessions, sync couple sessions and settings, track reading streaks and stats, send notifications you’ve enabled, fix crashes, and keep your account working across devices.

Where it’s stored

Account and activity data is stored with our backend provider (Supabase). Data is protected by per-user access controls so only you (and, for shared features, your linked partner where applicable) can access your records. Crash reports are stored with our error-tracking provider (GlitchTip). Notifications are delivered through Expo’s push service and Apple’s or Google’s notification service. Account emails (sign-in codes, password resets) are sent through ZeptoMail.

Our website

  • Accounts: at oblepo.com you can create an account or sign in with your email and password. It is the same account as the app, stored with the same backend provider (Supabase), and this policy covers it the same way.
  • Analytics: the site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views in aggregate. It sets no cookies and does not track you across other sites.
  • Payments: Purchases on our website go through Stripe; purchases in the app go through the App Store or Google Play, with RevenueCat recording them so Premium works on all your devices. oblepo never sees or stores your card details.

Your choices and rights

  • Edit your info anytime in Settings.
  • Unpair from a partner anytime; this stops sharing immediately.
  • Notifications are optional and can be turned off in your device settings.
  • Delete your account: Settings → Delete account. We email you a confirmation first; once you confirm, your account and personal data are permanently erased right away. Copies may persist in backups for a short period before they roll off.

Children

We intend oblepo for users 13 and older (or the age of digital consent in your region). It is not directed to young children.

Changes

We may update this policy; we’ll update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, notify you in the app.

Terms of service

Terms of Service — oblepo

Last updated: October 12, 2026

Welcome to oblepo. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.

1. What oblepo is

The oblepo app is a digital-wellness app that helps you limit distracting app use and spend intentional time in Scripture, on your own and (optionally) with a partner. The app’s focus modes, friction prompts, and app-blocking are tools you choose to apply to yourself.

2. Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. You must be at least 13 (or the age of digital consent in your region) to use oblepo.

3. Acceptable use

Use oblepo lawfully and respectfully. Don’t attempt to break, abuse, or reverse-engineer the service, or use it to harass or monitor another person without their consent. Couple features require both adults to opt in, and either person may end a shared session, remove a line they wrote for the other’s block screen, or unpair at any time. Anything you write for your partner must be respectful.

4. App-blocking and reliability

The app’s blocking and reminders are aids, not guarantees. Technical limits, device settings, and OS behavior mean the app may not block every app in every situation. It is not a safety or emergency tool — emergency calling and essential functions remain available on your device.

5. Scripture content

The Bible text provided is the King James Version (public domain).

6. Subscriptions

Some features require a paid plan. You can buy one on our website, billed by our payment processor, or in the app through the App Store or Google Play, billed by Apple or Google. The price, billing period and renewal terms are shown before you buy, and subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops future charges and keeps access until the end of the paid period. Cancel a website plan on the account page on our website, and an in-app plan in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions.

Website payments are final, but we look at every refund request individually. If something isn’t right, email support@oblepo.com soon after the charge and we’ll do our best to make it right. Refunds for purchases made in the app are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.

7. Disclaimers and liability

We provide oblepo “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app. The app does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice.

8. Changes and termination

We may update the app and these terms; material changes will be noted in the app. You may stop using oblepo and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account, confirmed by email). We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This doesn’t take away any rights you have under the consumer-protection laws where you live.
